Late Narayan Meghaji Lokhande Maharashtra Institute of Lobour Studies (LNML MILS), formerly known as Maharashtra Institute of Labour Studies (MILS) is established in July 1947 by the then Government of Mumbai owing to the initative and the inspiring guidance of Shri Gulzarilal Nanda, the then Minister of Labour, Mumbai. The Institute is recognized by the University of Mumbai as Post Graduate education and research institute in the field of Labour Studies under the Maharashtra Universities Act 1994. For the past 64 years, the institute has been creating excellent professionals to discharge their duties and responsibilities, particularly in the fields of Labour Welfare, Industrial Relations and broadly in the area of Human Resource Management.
