How to do Online Enrollment of Welfare Officer using Mahakamgar

In every factory wherein five hundred or more workers are ordinarily employed the occupier shall employ in the factory such number of welfare officers as prescribed. The State Government may prescribe the duties, qualification and conditions of service of welfare officers employed. The general duties of welfare officer is to advise and assist factory management in providing welfare facilities, to promote good relations between the factory management and workers, to watch industrial relations with a view to using his influence to prevent a dispute arising between the factory management and workers etc.

Every such application shall be accompanied by relevant physical documents as listed below.

Mandatory - Items

  • Prescribed Form. The following documents shall be enclosed with the Form
  • Qualification certificate
  • Attested copy of degree/Master degree in labour welfare from the university recognized by the State Government.
  • Experience Certificate (If Applicable)
  • Certificate in respect of Knowledge of Marathi
