Objectives

To ensure a decent standard of living for the workers employed in the Unorganised Sectors, by implementing various Labour Legislations passed by the Central & State Governments.

Acts implement by the Development Commissioner Un-Organised Labour are:

• The Un-Organised Workers Social Security Act, 2008.
• Building & Consrtuction Workers Act, 1996.
• Maharashtra Domestic Workers welfare Board Act, 2008.
